I'm Victor. Brazilian-born, London-forged, Singapore-based Senior Staff Engineer at Meta.

I've spent 12 years at Meta. It started with an internship in 2012, arriving a week before the IPO — an unforgettable experience with overnight hackathons and the energy of a company going public. I joined full-time in London, and in 2021 moved to Singapore to support multiple teams on meta.com before transitioning to the enterprise space. Along the way, I've worked through product pivots, org changes, and now the biggest shift of all: the AI transition.

Background

I studied engineering at UNICAMP in Brazil, with an exchange year at École Centrale de Lyon in France. Three countries, three languages (Portuguese, English, French), one long career at Meta.

I'm a Christian, a husband, and an expat navigating life abroad while staying connected to roots. I believe sharing what you learn is the best way to solidify it, and that's why I started writing.
